Browns Wire

● By Cory Kinnan
The 2024 NFL draft has come to a close, and it is preposterous that it took a week to get a 2025 NFL mock draft out for the Cleveland Browns. In this one, they land a couple of playmakers in Ohio State’s Emeka Egbuka and Oregon’s Josh Conerly Jr. The Browns tend to stick to premium positions only in the first two rounds of the draft. Those premium positions are quarterback (hopefully they will not need one of those next offseason), wide receiver, offensive tackle, defensive tackle, and edge rusher. Selecting linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in the second round in 2021 was an outlier pick on talent they felt extreme conviction for. Do not look for that to change as the Browns continue to look for young talent to trek along with their sustainable model of roster building.
