Kyler Murray was almost universally praised at the NFL Scouting Combine for measuring a hair above 5-foot-10 and weighing in at 207 pounds. It was as if he was chosen first overall (there’s officially a lot of smoke signalling things are headed in that direction). It might have sounded like things were settled in Indianapolis, but this is only the beginning. Murray will be the first 5-foot-10 quarterback drafted since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Georgia Tech’s Joe Hamilton with the 234th overall pick in the 2000 NFL draft. (That’s right, the Joe Hamilton!)
