Adam Gase’s squad got its first victory of the season Sunday, shocking the Los Angeles Rams 23-20, but likely losing the top spot in the 2021 NFL Draft to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the process. Sure, the Jaguars can realistically win their second game over the final two weeks of the season and the Jets are more than likely to lose both of their final games. But maybe Jacksonville realizes it is in position for a generational quarterback talent, do the smart thing the Jets should have done and lose out.
