It has been well documented that this college football season is the most unique year that we have ever seen. Between the opt outs/opt ins as a result of COVID-19 and the subsequent abbreviated football season, the landscape of college football has been affected on a weekly basis. Individual conferences have had their own agenda with regards to handling the season, which added another layer to the ordeal.
