College football is back, baby! With the onset of a new season, another NFL draft cycle begins anew. An early look at the 2022 class differs significantly from this year's version. The top of the class isn't headlined by a slam-dunk No. 1 overall prospect like Trevor Lawrence. The skill positions don't appear to be anywhere near as strong. From a logistical standpoint, scouts aren't dealing with prospects opting out of the campaign or nearly as stringent COVID-19 protocols. Just like in every draft before it, the next crop of talent will present its own unique possibilities with the potential to significantly help the professional ranks.
