Welcome to the second installment of Full Press Coverage’s NFL Mock Draft series. A new mock will publish each Monday until the real thing takes place on Thursday, April 28th at 8:00 am EST. As for now, this is FPC 2022 NFL Mock Draft 2.0. In the first installment of the FPC Mock Draft series, the Detroit Lions went with a quarterback early. However, in version 2.0 of the Mock Draft, Detroit instead selects a defensive player with the second overall pick. In fact, no quarterback was taken until the sixth overall selection. However, the Lions do have an extra first-round pick, so we shall see what they can accomplish with that.
