It’s that time of year again! Every year, you all ingest tons of predictive mocks, what-I-would-do mocks, and mocks breaking down what teams should do. The purpose of my annual Marketing Mock is to take a unique approach by looking at the marketability, brand power, and the ability to sell a prospect-team fit to the corresponding fan base. I try to keep traditional Xs and Os out of the equation as much as possible. This is meant to be entertaining and to get you thinking about the NFL draft in a different light. Regardless of what you may have been told, football logic doesn’t always win out when it comes to draft picks. A lot of picks are made based on the generation of revenue, putting fans in the stands, and selling merchandise. That being said, I hope you enjoy it and remember this perspective come draft night.
