We're now a few days beyond the official opening of the NFL's 2022 free agent market, and oh how the league's power structure has shifted. Deshaun Watson is suddenly headed to Cleveland. Davante Adams is leaving Green Bay for Las Vegas after all. The Broncos' acquisition of Russell Wilson and Commanders' deal for Carson Wentz are official, while the Adams-less Packers move forward with re-enriched QB Aaron Rodgers and more draft assets as they try once again to get over a Super Bowl hump they haven't surmounted in 11 years. The fallout means massive ripple effects heading into the 2022 draft, which is really beginning to crystallize as more picks switch hands and team needs come into clearer focus:
