2016 NFL Draft: Redraft : As the midpoint of the season approaches, it's time to formally do what fans have been informally doing since the final pick of the draft was read off in Chicago on April 30: second-guess each team's picks. The premise of SI's midseason 2016 NFL draft do-over is simple: Knowing what they know now, would all 30 teams with first-round picks last April have made the same selections? For simplicity's sake, all trades were kept intact, leaving the Chiefs (and Patriots) out of the second-guessing fun. Because of timing alone, some prospects are being unfairly dinged for bad injury luck, others by the incumbent depth at their positions. As you'll see, the rookie production pool thins out quickly near the back half of the revised first round.
