The rebuild is officially here for the Miami Dolphins. Instead of continuing to waste away in mediocrity, the Dolphins finally appear to be ready to tear down their roster in order to completely rebuild through the draft. A full rebuild is much needed in Miami and it is going to be an interesting process to watch unfold. The Dolphins are reportedly looking ahead to the 2020 NFL Draft when it comes to the quarterback position. With the lack of premium quarterback prospects in the 2019 draft, this is a plan that makes sense. It also makes sense if you take into account their current roster. As the roster stands now, the Dolphins simply are not in a position to support a rookie quarterback. Due to their lack of talent across the roster, any first-year signal caller would likely come into Miami and struggle, perhaps stunting their long-term development.
