With The First Pick

● By Dylan Grimm
The Kansas City Chiefs made the Super Bowl for the second time in as many years and were considered favorites to win it all again. Unfortunately for the Chiefs, they were without both of their starting tackles in Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz due to injuries. With the absence of both bookends for the championship game, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave Patrick Mahomes hell all night long. The Bucs forced Mahomes into multiple scrambles which led to errant throws and three interceptions as well as sacking him three times. The Buccaneers pass rush would’ve given the starters a tough night so to miss both Fisher and Schwartz was a task too tall to overcome and resulted in a 31-9 loss.
