With The First Pick

Free agency is dying down and everyone is shifting their attention to the 2021 NFL Draft. After not making a huge splash in free agency, it seems like the Dallas Cowboys‘ strategy to improve is going to be by using the draft. The Cowboys have major needs on defense and got some nice players to help out in free agency, but they still need to address it with a major portion of their draft capital. Keanu Neal was a nice signing, but there are some reports that the team might move him to weakside linebacker. Other than Neal, the Cowboys signed offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe, defensive ends Tarrell Basham and Brent Urban, and defensive tackle Carlos Watkins. It’s nice to have all of those players under contract, but they only really provide depth.
