The Green Bay Packers made a somewhat surprising move by re-signing Aaron Jones in what turns out to be a pretty team-friendly deal. Although that move took away from money to bring in other players at positions of need, it did shore up their running back room for next season. With the Jones signing official, it also somewhat changes Green Bay’s draft strategy, especially in the middle rounds. Before, they almost certainly had to add a running back through the draft or free agency, but now they can simply take a late Day 3 flyer on one if the right guy is available.
