With The First Pick

● By Andrew Lamers
It really does not feel like that long ago when the whole world stopped what they were doing to watch the first live sporting event in almost two months: The 2020 NFL Draft. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell conducted the entire draft from the basement of his home almost seamlessly and it felt almost like a relief to the sporting world to watch. My first article ever came out a few days prior, a global pandemic was completely forgotten for a few hours, and we got an awesome glimpse inside of the draft rooms and homes of NFL head coaches and general managers. Fast forward almost one year later and we are still facing a health crisis, but this year it looks like we get an actual, somewhat normal NFL Draft again. Instead of the basement of the NFL Commissioner’s house, we will see the 2021 NFL Draft from Cleveland, Ohio for the first time.
