Bear Goggles On

● By Rob Schwarz Jr.
When we work our way through these NFL mock drafts, the point is to narrow down players who may be available for the Chicago Bears to draft when they are on the clock. It’s also for us to determine which players we like at certain positions and give them grades while building up our own draft board. Finally, and probably most importantly, we are looking to try and determine who or at least what position Ryan Poles and the Bears will select at each pick. There are some bread crumbs for us to follow when we do this. One, we must listen to what general manager, Ryan Poles, and head coach, Matt Eberflus are both telling us. We must also follow the free agency moves to see exactly what positions the team may be focusing on in free agency versus the NFL Draft. For example, the Chicago Bears have added some solid players on defense who fit the Chicago Bears new scheme. With Robert Quinn, Trevis Gipson and Al-Quadin Muhammad locked in at defensive end, it’s highly unlikely the team will add another end early in the 2022 NFL Draft.
