Heading into this offseason, the Denver Broncos had a major decision in front of them, and that decision was what they were going to do at the QB position. Last season the Broncos had started the likes of Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater, and while neither were terrible, neither showed any ability to lead the Broncos into the future. While the Broncos had a major decision in terms of what they were going to do at the QB position, they had multiple options. Of course, the Broncos could have brought back one of Bridgewater or Lock and started one of them, but the odds were that was never going to happen for many different reasons. Outside of retaining Lock or Bridgwater, the realistic options for Denver were from outside of the organization. The most popular and loudest option was Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers voiced his displeasure with the Packer’s top brass last offseason, which led to large amounts of speculation on if he would return to Titletown.
