Heading into Week 11 action, the Denver Broncos are on a bye week and their record is a respectable 5-5, matching their win total from a season ago. Although their record is respectable, year three of the Vic Fangio era certainly has a “playoffs or bust” feel to it from a management perspective. The Broncos hired a new GM in 2021 with George Paton coming over from the Minnesota Vikings after a decade of turning down job opportunities elsewhere in the league. Paton has taken the 2021 season to evaluate the roster and give Vic Fangio the best possible shot at making it to the postseason, but it feels like the team still needs to reset at head coach and quarterback.
