The NFL Draft is 10 weeks away, and the offseason has begun. The Cleveland Browns are a winning team that had a losing record in 2021, and making the playoffs again is 2022 is absolutely the expectation. This draft should help them do that. So let’s track our thinking on the best way for general manager Andrew Berry to deploy the Browns resources. Every week until the draft, Dan Labbe, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and I will suggest our ideal mock draft for the first three rounds for the Browns. We’ll float names and give you ideas of the positions we think the Browns should target. I’ll start and take every Tuesday. The idea is to track how our thinking evolves between now and the end of April. What happens at the NFL combine, what the Browns do in free agency, the general rumors of players rising and falling in the eyes of draft evaluators, and our own changes in thinking will affect our mock drafts.
