The Cleveland Browns took the big step by upgrading the quarterback position, sending a boatload of draft picks to the Houston Texans for controversial quarterback Deshaun Watson. This season, the Texans own the Browns first and fourth-round picks as part of the deal. The Browns are hoping to recoup at least some of the picks they lost in a deal for Baker Mayfield, but as of this writing, the former No. 1 overall pick is still a member of the Browns. The Browns need to make money moves this season to put together a winning roster. They made the move after the other Ohio team and their division rivals the Cincinnati Bengals went to the Super Bowl. It was time for the Browns to make the jump to the next level of AFC team. Most teams in the conference made major moves this season to get better, pushing the competition level higher. With Watson likely missing some time due to suspension, the Browns need to add talent right now. They still have picks to upgrade the roster at the NFL Draft.
