NFL Mocks

For the first time in a long time, the expectations were very high for the Cleveland Browns entering the 2021 season. After reaching the divisional round in 2020, things looked to be falling into place for the franchise. It hasn’t gone to plan in 2021. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has regressed mechanically, and while injuries haven’t helped, there are throws on tape that make one believe things are getting better for him medically. Odell Beckham Jr. was cut, the receiver room hasn’t met expectations, and while the defense is turning things around, their front could look very different in 2022. At this moment, the Browns are still in the playoff hunt. They need to win their last two games against the Steelers and Bengals, something that is certainly possible. It’s hard to imagine, though, that the Browns make much noise in the playoffs with an offense that feels eerily one-dimensional at times.
