Bolt Beat

● By Jason Reed
The LA Chargers were busy on the first day of free agency. After making the huge move of trading for Khalil Mack last week, the Chargers somehow followed with an even more impressive showing on Monday. The biggest news of the day was that the Chargers agreed to terms on a five-year, $82.5 million contract with the top corner on the market, J.C. Jackson. However, the Bolts followed that signing with two more great signings, shoring up the defensive line with Austin Johnson and Sebastian Joseph-Day. LA has checked several boxes on the roster but there is more work to be done. It is clear that the Bolts are all-in on contending for a Super Bowl and they will likely continue to be as aggressive as they can be in the realm of possibility.
