While all Philadelphia Eagles fans know that the NFL Draft is going to be a huge factor in determining how successful this team’s offseason has been, few have even discussed how often the organization’s general manager, Howie Roseman, and his scout team have gone the route of using their draft choices as bargaining chips that can be leveraged versus the league’s 31 other teams. While Howie Roseman has been known to trade up and down in years past, he could package a few selections together to move up during April’s selection meeting to put himself in a position to land a superstar in the making. This isn’t something that many of us have discussed often, but it’s possible. Some believe it’s more beneficial for the Eagles to hang on to all three picks or mortgage one to land a veteran. Here’s an intriguing possibility. What if the Eagles traded up into the top five? We’ve explored every other angle. Why not explore this one?
