Cat Crave

We are now just a few short weeks away from all the speculation coming to an end regarding the Carolina Panthers and their plans during the 2022 NFL Draft. The constant rumors swirling about their top-end selection can become a little tiresome, but there is no doubt about the importance of such a call with only one pick in the top-100 as it stands. Obviously, general manager Scott Fitterer would probably like to trade down in pursuit of more capital. Giving up the No. 38 overall selection among other things for Sam Darnold was an absolute catastrophe and might limit them from going about their usual business considering the overall strength of this year’s quarterback class. There is also the opportunity for Carolina to select their franchise left tackle if they hold firm at No. 6. This is an area that’s become a constant source of frustration since Jordan Gross retired and if one of the premier players fell into their laps, then it would be extremely hard to pass up no matter how much they might want to risk it all for someone like Malik Willis or Kenny Pickett.
