12th Man Rising

● By Geoff Shull
The Seattle Seahawks have filled numerous holes in free agency. They kept their promise and re-signed many of their own players. Players like safety Quandre Diggs, running back Rashaad Penny, tight end Will Dissly, defensive tackle Al Woods, guard Phil Haynes, and cornerback Sidney Jones were all re-signed. They also spent some money to fill holes with, in my opinion, perfect scheme fits. Players like edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu (25-year-old OLB), Austin Blythe (center), and Artie Burns (a speedy cornerback) all show promise. Follow that up with the players acquired in the Russell Wilson trade in addition to the draft capital. The team has a making of an upcoming roster. Finally, there feels like there is some fresh life on the roster. However, they shouldn’t be done.
