Titans Wire

● By Tyler Rowland
The first round started with nothing but offensive linemen and defensive players. Two quarterbacks went, but with the exception of Jameson Williams, all the wide receivers remained. This would be perfect for the Titans. I went with Wilson because of his speed and run-after-catch ability. The Titans need a big time playmaker with jets. Wilson ran a 4.37 at the combine, proving he can be the vertical threat the Titans need, but also has the shake to do damage on quicks. Think about having a star in the Chester Rogers role! Again, how perfect for the Titans. Only Trey McBride and Isaiah Likely were off the board. I went Wydermyer over guys like Cade Otton and Jeremy Ruckert because I feel Wydermyer has more superstar potential. He isn’t the most powerful blocker in the run game, but he is aggressive and willing. As a receiver, he is a good route-runner with YAC ability and sure hands. A perfect TE2 behind a free-agent veteran for his rookie year.
