The Viking Age

● By Adam Carlson
The offseason has officially arrived in the NFL now that the Super Bowl is over and the Los Angeles Rams are the champions. Kevin O’Connell is expected to be named the team’s new head coach this week and then decisions will begin to be made regarding the direction of the franchise. It is more difficult than ever to predict what the Vikings are going to do moving forward. New general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah could collaborate with O’Connell to make some major changes that could include changing defensive schemes and altering personnel groupings. Despite what changes are made, Minnesota will need to accumulate quite a bit of talent in order to fill their roster holes and add depth in order to start the process of bringing this team back to the playoffs.
