Understandably, there hasn’t been a whole lot of buzz for the Cleveland Browns’ draft. The Browns traded away their first and second-round picks, and after another busy March on the free-agent front, Cleveland pretty much has its starting lineup set. This is still a team with needs and a roster that needs improvements in several areas, but drumming up excitement about draft picks outside the top 50 is as tough as it’s been for the Browns to find a bunch of good players in the middle rounds over the last few years. But it looks like the Browns might have found a real gem in last year’s third round with cornerback Martin Emerson Jr., and this year the Browns are again starting in the third round. They have eight picks — starting with Nos. 74 and 98 in the third round — and also have multiple picks in the fourth and fifth rounds before GM Andrew Berry jumps back into the trade market, which Berry has done multiple times in his first three drafts at the front of the room.
