The Chargers are through the initial surge of free agency, and they focused a majority of their resources on bringing back in-house free agents. They re-signed starting right tackle Trey Pipkins III, rotational defensive lineman Morgan Fox and tight end Donald Parham Jr. Their only external addition has been former Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks, who will replace Drue Tranquill. The tight cap space situation has been limiting. The Chargers still have some room to make minor moves in the coming days and weeks. But even if those happen, they will have to turn to the draft to fill out most of their depth, which is lacking at several positions. We will attempt to address the Chargers’ needs in our Mock Draft 2.0.
