Orange And Brown Report

● By Andrew Spayde
Every week from now until the draft, the OBR will publish a weekly In-Depth Mock Draft which will feature video highlights of the draft prospects selected as well as an analysis of how that player fits with the Browns. I tried to go for value against the perceived draft slots with this draft, while also giving the Browns multiple players that can contribute for the length of their contracts. In particular, I really like the idea of pairing a young linebacker with Owusu-Koramoah and I like the idea of a late-round pick on the interior of the offensive line that could contribute as a backup or starter down the line. At the top, I'm excited to add two long-term starters at defensive and offensive tackle. The Browns do need to continue to add talent to the lines through the draft as they have relied on plenty of free agent investment at those positions and it will always be preferable to find help in the trenches through the draft. I like how strong on fundamentals this draft is.
