The Washington Commanders season is over. I’m not going to dodge it or lessen the blow or anything. It’s over. The Ron Rivera era has failed miserably over the last four years. However, this has put the Commanders in prime position to have a franchise altering draft class with five draft picks within the first 100 selections. A few weeks ago I created my first Commanders mock draft for the 2024 class, however after Washington has gone on a four game losing streak since that article was published, I felt like it’s time for a new one. For this mock draft, one of the rules I established was that I couldn’t select any players I chose in my first mock. With the Commanders massive shift in draft position, this didn’t seem to be an issue, but does explain the reason why I didn’t select Houston tackle Patrick Paul in the second round.
