The Dallas Cowboys have shifted their focus to team building now that the sun has set on the 2024 NFL season. With Mike Zimmer now locked in as defensive coordinator, the entire coaching staff and scouting department has likely started their assessments of prospects as they prepare for the NFL Draft. Will McClay, the Cowboys' Vice President of Player Personnel and his staff know that they didn’t have the best draft last season with many rookies not being able to contribute in 2023. This time around they are going to need to make sure they can identify players they believe can come in and make an immediate impact on this roster quickly or risk having another underwhelming draft class in 2024. With mock draft season upon us let’s take a crack at this and see what are able to come up with for the Cowboys in a hypothetical draft where the team stands pat with its current allotment of selections.
