The Miami Dolphins reached the playoffs for the second consecutive year in 2023 and likely would have been content to run it back with only minor changes to the roster. But then the salary cap and free agency got in the way, creating for a busy time for general manager Chris Grier. And putting a bigger onus on making Miami's draft picks count. Offensively, the Dolphins have needs on the interior offensive line and receiver, pending a decision by Odell Beckham Jr. to possibly become Miami's No. 3 behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Defensively, Miami needs help on the defensive line (edge and tackle) and safety (Jordan Poyer will soon turn 33).
