Bleacher Nation

The Chicago Bears could really use one of the big three receivers to pair with Caleb Williams, so we’re swapping the sixth and ninth picks in the 2024 NFL Draft in exchange for a 2025 second and fourth-rounder from the Bears. J.J. McCarthy is a promising quarterback known for his diverse passing abilities and athleticism. He excels at making quick decisions under pressure and is particularly effective against blitzes. However, his development has been somewhat limited by Michigan’s offensive system. While he needs to work on his processing speed and deep passing outside the numbers, his potential as a high-ceiling prospect is evident. With his skill set and familiarity with pro-style concepts, he’s likely to be a first-round draft pick.
