The next step on Jacksonville’s path toward a potential return to the playoffs is the 2024 NFL draft, as the Jaguars enter the annual selection ceremony with eight picks, including five in the top 116. Although the club was one of the most active in NFL free agency spending this year — dishing out over $188 million in guaranteed money — Jacksonville has work left to do as it attempts to strengthen its roster following a disappointing, 9-8 finish in 2023, missing the postseason after its run to the AFC Divisional Round the year prior.
