The 2024 NFL offseason is coming up soon, with the tampering period opening March 11 and the official free agency period opening March 13. With this, we will see many teams across the league looking to fill gaps in their rosters, and make decisions that will ultimately affect their decisions come draft day. The New Orleans Saints have various needs across their roster, and while we cannot predict which will be covered when, we can make educated assessments of the situation. Ultimately, players will have pro days in the coming weeks which will change their draft stock slightly, but the majority of the large shifts in stock have been since completed with the NFL Scouting Combine complete. We do have the updated list of compensatory picks for all teams however, with the Saints receiving three this season which will factor into this mock draft. Today we will be completing a seven-round (more like six-round after a trade up) mock draft exercise using the Pro Football Focus mock draft simulator, including a trade up as is the Saints way, and filling as many needs as possible with the picks available.
