Texans Wire

● By John Crumpler
The Houston Texans made a splash on Wednesday afternoon when they acquired star wideout Stefon Diggs from the Buffalo Bills. Even at 30, Diggs represents one of football’s premier receivers and was openly discontent after a relatively down season in 2023. He made four consecutive Pro Bowls while helping Josh Allen emerge as a star quarterback in Buffalo, and now joins a Houston offense ready to take the next step. Quarterback C.J. Stroud shined as the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and brings a loaded supporting cast into 2023 with running back Joe Mixon, receivers Nico Collins and Tank Dell, tight end Dalton Schultz and do-it-all weapon Brevin Jordan. In all honestly, Stroud could have a headache trying to feed so many mouths when given the opportunity.
