The Landry Hat

After the work they did in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys front office deserves its flowers. The Jones family and Will McClay once again found value throughout the weekend and they avoided making any panic moves. Most importantly, they seem to have turned the 24th overall pick into two starters to fill out the offensive line. Afterward, they had a few undrafted free-agent signings and officially brought back Ezekiel Elliott. He might not be the player he once was but he’s better than any other option they had. Perhaps their work will keep them competitive in 2024 but they’ll need to be on their A-game again next year. That’s why we’re already looking ahead with this way-too-early 3-round 2025 mock draft.
