A perfect fit. Jacksonville land one of the highest rated QB prospects to enter the draft since Andrew Luck. Not only can Lawrence make all the throw but he has the running ability to take it to the endzone in one play. A next generation John Elway 2000!
I have Trevor Lawrence/Justin Fields 1a/1b. If I'm SF G.M. I pound the table to move up one spot and grab Justin Fields. He would be perfect for this historic football franchise in the reins of Steve Young. As Lawrence, Fields can make every throw and too has truly game breaking ability with his legs. Fields would be gold for the 49ers!
Jets front office are said to be tied to Zach Wilson. However, I believe a team such as Denver would be the better fit. With a much more laid back sports culture Denver can develop Wilson patiently rather than be thrusted to the wolves in the New York market where you are expected to win on day one.
If I'm Cincinatti I make it my mission to secure Kyle Pitts. A truly unique talent at the tight end position probably since Kellen Winslow. the first. Cincinatti finally have their QB for the next two decades in Joe Burrow. Now you have the chance to surround him with special players. You look at the other past dynasties you had the 9ers surround Montana with Rice/Taylor, Craig. The Cowboys surround Aikman with Irvin,Smith,Novacheck. The one thing in common they all walked in to the Hall of Fame together. That's the kind of talent Joe Burrow and Kyle Pitts could make magic with this franchise.
Atlanta land the highly coveted cover corner in this class in Patrick Surtain II.
Miami need some serious juice on offense. Especially in the modern day NFL. You win on offense. I love Eitienne's game. And the way he can impact the offense around him. Love the Etienne fit here!
I have Carolina moving up one to select their QB of the future in Trey Lance.
I have the Jets beginning their draft building around the inside out and securing the highest rated offensive lineman in this class in Peneii Sewell.
I have Giants trading ahead of Dallas to secure Micah Parsons. (This is post draft). And you just can't let Dallas grab the linebacker the Giants desperately need. Michah Parsons looks like the real deal.
While I prefer Chase and Smith over Waddle. I do think Waddle would be the better compliment to CeeDee Lamb. As Waddle would be a great deep threat.
The Vikings already do have Justin Jefferson. But I'm loving the idea of pairing him up with his LSU teamate Jamaar Chase. The dynamic duo could really flourish along with Kirk Cousins
I have Chase/Devonta 1a/1b yet again. While Chase seems the more explosive of the two Smith may be the more solid well rounded receiver. He would be nice to develop in Detroit
San Diego grab the second best cornerback in the class.
New England move up one to secure the massive run blocker Rashawn Slater
Personally my favorite receiver in the class Rashod Bateman. I think he has the highest potential. Would love to see the fit in Philadelphia
Cards help protect Kyler Murray
Gregory Rousseau my second rated defensive player after Micah Parsons. Would grab him if I were Oakland here.
I have Miami drafting Eitienne with their first pick. Now let's go to the other side of the ball with Miami player Jaelan Phillips.
Washington need to sure up the QB position and find their eventual starter. Mac Jones could be that guy. While I'm not sure he can carry a team he just needs to be the field general on Washington and would be already surrounded with talents such as Terry McLaurin.
Pittsburgh move up the secure Kwity Paye.
Colts solidify their offensive line.
Buffalo trade up to select a badly needed running back in Najee Harris.
Jacksonville surround Lawrence with weapons. Kadarius Toney is simply an impact player. They say a human joy stick. A very unique talent.
Baltimore find Lamar Jackson a compliment to Marquis Brown. Marshall a possession receiver and former LSU teamates in Jefferson and Chase. Hopefully we havent seen his best yet
My favorite player in this draft class. Watching him at Kansas I just believe he is special.
Now Pooka's backfield teamate tandem in Khalil Herbert. He was an unsung gem.
Learning more about Rhamondre Stevenson he looks the part of a two down starter.
I'll close my mock draft with Sam Ehlinger. He showed potential at Texas and maybe can develop on the right team.
