Early July marks the awkward part of the NFL calendar year that is right before training camp, after the NFL Draft, and a while before the regular season comes back. Therefore, what better way to kill the time than by preparing for next year’s draft? I last took a shot at ranking prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft in late May. A much larger draft board and additional film study on previously-watched prospects has my board looking more elaborate now than it did at that stage, though. Much has changed between then and now, and much more will change between now and the actual 2022 draft itself. However, the summer serves as a fantastic opportunity to find potential sleepers for the upcoming season and acquaint oneself with the top prospects in next year’s class.
