The 2024 NFL Draft is a little more than three months away. The deadline for underclassmen to declare has passed, which means teams know the pool of prospects that are eligible to be selected. CBSSports.com's Ryan Wilson, Chris Trapasso and myself compiled our aggregate rankings to unveil an updated look at the top 250 prospects. There is an interesting shift occurring in the process, however. College football's institution of Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) earnings for players allows them to make a living before making the leap to professional status. In most cases, NIL can not compete with the lucrative deals that top 100 overall selections receive, but the biggest impact is being felt on Day 3 prospects and undrafted free agents. A larger volume of players are staying in college, which has thinned out the talent pool.
