With the Senior Bowl and East-West Shrine Bowl in our rear-view mirrors, it’s time to expand my 2024 NFL Draft big board to include more prospects. I actually ranked 263 players for my February board instead of 250. Why? Because I can’t do basic math and didn’t want to go through the trouble of cutting 13 prospects off the board. February’s big board is broken down into 14 tiers covering most of the players that I anticipate will be drafted or signed as high priority undrafted free agents (UDFAs). For reference, 259 prospects were selected in the 2023 NFL Draft, and 262 heard their names called in 2022. Keep in mind that all of these names matter. Seventh round picks can turn into key players. Brock Purdy (Mr. Irrelevant), Kansas City Chiefs Isiah Pacheco and Jaylen Watson, and Green Bay Packers starting left tackle Rasheed Walker were all seventh round picks in 2022. There were fewer seventh round standouts in 2023, but cornerbacks Jaylon Jones and Carrington Valentine both made ten or more starts as rookies.
