The draft is fast approaching which means it’s 2020 NFL mock draft season. Mobile, Alabama was scoured with scouts and executives for the annual Senior Bowl. This is where all of the top seniors in all of college football come to display their talents for NFL teams. For many players, this is a big opportunity to get invited to the NFL Scouting Combine at the end of February. Around this time is when we start to hear some rumblings of what teams are thinking in the early stages of the offseason. They’ll be rumors of some big-time free agents heading to a new home which could change a team’s plans for the draft. There will be a bunch of speculation regarding teams that are looking for a starting quarterback. Where will Phillip Rivers land now that we know he’s likely done with the Chargers? Will Tom Brady’s time in New England finally come to an end? He’s spent 20 seasons with Belichick and the Patriots that it would be hard to imagine him anywhere else. Brady will be entering his age 43 season so it’s hard to fit him in with a team that needs a starting quarterback and is ready to contend.
