The first day of the NFL free agency window was absolute bananas (and started off early Sunday night when Tom Brady announced his return). We think that’s the perfect time to unveil the first iteration of my Mock Draft for the 2022 NFL Draft (April 28-30, Las Vegas). This encompasses results from the NFL Scouting Combine and of course is affected by free agency. For instance, I was an early driver of the Evan Neal-to-Jacksonville train, but with Jacksonville taking care of its offensive line in the last week, I’ve got a new pick for the Jags. I am not factoring trades into the mix here. Let’s get started and come back for another edition following Pro Days. By then, we'll have seen the Deshaun Watson dominos fall, which would change at least a few of these picks.
