The Cincinnati Bengals must tackle free agency this week before turning their full attention to the 2024 NFL draft. But that doesn’t stop mock draft season. What the Bengals end up doing with their own key free agents, such as DJ Reader and Jonah Williams, will have a huge impact on that draft process. But so will any outside free agents they end up signing, with major needs across both offensive and defensive lines, as well as possible upgrades to the secondary and the cast of weapons around Joe Burrow, particularly at tight end. In our pre-free agency first-round mock draft, those Bengals see big-name targets like Brock Bowers come off the board early, stressing the need to hit certain positions more than others in free agency.
