Trying to predict what will happen in the NFL draft is an exercise in futility. While mock drafts can help shape expectations about what a team needs to address and what players may be available, things never go as most predict. It’s even less likely to accurately predict how trades will shake things up on draft night. And yet, they always happen. Last year, there were three deals made on draft night before they even got through the first 10 picks. So how accurate is a projection of the 2024 NFL draft really if it doesn’t include at least a few teams moving up and down the order?
