The NFL trade deadline has passed for 2023. The college football season has some elite players rise on the way to the playoffs. That makes it a great time to check with another Sporting News first-round mock draft for 2024. Quarterbacks once again take center stage. Many of have played themselves into high early demand, given the state of the league for several teams who don't have a surefire answer for a franchise passer. The order is still in flux with less than half of the '23 regular season to be played, but there's a better understanding of what positions clubs should target. For now, based on what we know about prospect values and team needs, here are Sporting News' latest projections for how April 25 in Detroit might play out:
