Now that the NFL’s legal tampering period (when most of the real free agency news happens) is over, and the new league year has begun, NFL teams are left to pick off the best remaining players on the open market, tweet out the contracts that have been agreed to for however long, and turn their collective attention to the NFL draft. And that’s less than 50 days away, so while parts of every NFL facility has been locked down in Operation: Free Agency, there are just as many people in those buildings who haven’t even looked up from their laptops as they grind as much prospect tape as possible if they’re not hosting official visits and attending pro days and private workouts. In this post-free agency mock, things turn in some interesting ways.
