Completely re-picking the entire first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Did your favorite team make the right move or was their first-round pick regretful? - Page 2
With three seasons in the books for the class of 2016, Lance Zierlein takes another crack at that year's NFL draft. Do Jared Goff and Carson Wentz still go 1-2? Which team drafts Dak Prescott?

If the 2016 NFL draft happened again with the benefit of hindsight, here's how the first round might shake out
We're almost a full year away from the 2016 NFL draft, meaning it's time to look back at how teams and players performed in their first calendar year of being a professional...
Before we can fully embrace the frenzy of the lead-up to the 2017 NFL draft, we must learn from the successes and failures of last year’s draft, which delivered several instant superstars and sparked a wealth of debate up and down the seven rounds of selections. As the midpoint of the season approaches, it's time to formally do what fans have been informally doing since the final pick of the draft was read off in Chicago on April 30: second-guess each team's picks. The premise of SI's midseason 2016 NFL draft do-over is simple: Knowing what they know now, would all 30 teams with first-round picks last April have made the same selections? For simplicity's sake, all trades were kept intact, leaving the Chiefs (and Patriots) out of the second-guessing fun. Because of timing alone, some prospects are being unfairly dinged for bad injury luck, others by the incumbent depth at their positions. As you'll see, the rookie production pool thins out quickly near the back half of the revised first round.
