Sidelion Report

● By Brenden Armour
The 2019 NFL Draft will kick off in less than week on April 25th at 8:00 p.m. eastern time. The Detroit Lions currently hold the eighth overall draft pick in the first round, and have at least one pick in all other rounds, including two in the sixth and seventh rounds. Will the Lions choose to make a selection with their first pick? Or will they choose to trade back; or perhaps even trade up? We will all know soon enough! The Lions are looking to go into this and contend for an NFC North title and playoff birth. To do so they will need to pick up contributors, and maybe a starter or two, at tight end, cornerback, offensive guard, and defensive end. They should also be looking for help at wide receiver and linebacker.
