It is that time of year again, the time when you do not have to look far to find a mock draft for the Cleveland Browns. It is pretty universally agreed upon that the Browns need to add playmakers to a wide receiver room that was seriously lacking in that department in 2021. The Browns will also have free agency to add playmakers but it wouldn’t be a shock to see them add in the draft even after signing one. The mock simulator used in this article does not include the compensatory pick the Browns will receive in the third round. Wide receiver is far from the only need the Browns have in order to make it back to the NFL playoffs in 2022. The interior of the defensive line was very weak against the run and is likely to lose both starters Malik Jackson and Malik McDowell for different reasons. If the Browns fail to resign Jadeveon Clowney and there will be a need at EDGE as well, especially after Takk McKinley ruptured his Achilles.
